Led by producing duo Paige Troxell and Kim Gunzinger, the company was built around a shared approach to storytelling... one that lives at the intersection of culture, identity, and emotion. Whether originating projects in-house or collaborating with other creatives, Venn Pictures is driven by the belief that the most compelling stories emerge where perspectives overlap.
The company develops original work across short film, documentary, and narrative features, while also partnering on projects in a producing capacity... from early development through packaging and production.
With a strong foundation in digital media and an established, highly engaged audience, Venn Pictures brings both creative vision and strategic reach to the projects it supports. Venn Pictures is currently building a slate of projects spanning documentary and narrative film, with a focus on emotionally grounded storytelling and culturally impactful work.
Paige Troxell and Kim Gunzinger met through their shared love of genre film, but their partnership was formed on the set of Don’t Fall Asleep: The Untold Story of Nancy Thompson.
Twenty feet in the air, rigging lighting with no electricity on a demanding two-day shoot, Kim quickly became Paige’s right hand. What started as a challenging set became the moment everything clicked.
There was an immediate creative spark… as if they had found the missing piece in each other. They realized they didn’t just work well together… they worked better together.
Both highly creative, their strengths naturally complement one another… approaching ideas from different angles while building something stronger together.
That dynamic became the foundation of their partnership and led to the creation of Venn Pictures.
